Leaders – How do you answer that question?
What does it really take to be an effective leader?
Sure you need to have vision, energy, strategic direction and get results. But how do you inspire and engage people?
According to HBR authors Robert Goffee and Gareth Jones in an article originally published 22 years ago, there are 4 Essential Leadership Qualities that truly inspirational leaders show:
1. They selectively show their weaknesses
2. They rely heavily on intuition
3. They manage employees with “tough empathy”
4. They reveal their unique differences
Over the next few days, I’ll expand on each of these Leadership Qualities.
